Central Asia & Russia: Surplus continues in N, E Kazakhstan
The forecast indicates that most regions of Russia and Central Asia will experience near-normal to abnormal anomalies. However, much of the northern regions of Kazakhstan should anticipate widespread surpluses, as well as some eastern portions of the country. Sparse pockets of deficit are expected in western, northwestern, and southeastern Russia.
Australia & New Zealand: Surplus to linger in N, NE Australia
The forecast indicates that intense surpluses are expected to linger throughout northern Australia, in areas of the Northern Territory and Queensland. Surpluses are also anticipated in southeastern Australia, in New South Wales and Victoria. Deficits will continue in Tasmania and coastal regions of New Zealand.
