Widespread deficits of varying intensity will occur in the southwest, northern, and northeastern states. Severe to extreme surpluses will remain in Florida, as well as in most noncontiguous states.

Canada: Widespread water deficits forecast with excecptional deficits in BC, AB, MB, ON, QC, NB, and NL

Through September 2016, the outlook for Canada indicates widespread water deficits across the country with large pockets of exceptional deficits expected in parts of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland.

Widespread water deficits with large pockets of exceptional deficits are expected in Canada’s Central Plains, and eastern Ontario into Quebec. Deficits from British Columbia to Manitoba may persist through May. Deficits in Ontario and Quebec may increase in extent and severity March through May.
