The forecast indicates that most exceptional deficits in Pakistan and Afghanistan will dissipate, though some regions are expected to experience lingering deficits. India is expected to observe widespread surplus throughout the country. 

The forecast anticipates moderate to severe surplus to spread significantly throughout India. Extreme to exceptional deficits are expected to resolve in Bangladesh, but continue in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The forecast anticipates moderate surplus to spread across much of India, with exceptional surplus expected to expand in size in southernmost regions. Exceptional deficits are expected to persist in regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan. 

The forecast anticipates surpluses to strengthen in southernmost regions of India, with moderate to severe surpluses remaining in western and west-central states of the country. Pockets of deficit throughout eastern India and Bangladesh are expected to diminish, while deficit in southern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan is expected to continue, but decrease in size. 

The forecast anticipates mostly normal conditions throughout South Asia, with pockets of moderate to severe surplus appearing in western and central India, as well as extreme deficits in east-central India and western Pakistan.
